Follow Your Art presents the exhibition *Across the Same Water*, a collaborative art project by Vasiliki Koukou, Dimitris Koukou, and Anda Tsiropoulou.
Opening: Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 9:00 p.m.
Dates: August 11–17, 26
The title of the exhibition serves as an open poetic metaphor, but also as a subtle reference to the place that hosts it. In Kythira, water is not merely a natural boundary; it is a passage, a connection, and constant movement. The very same sea that unites different shores becomes here a symbol of a shared creative experience, without negating the uniqueness of each individual journey.
The exhibition does not focus on the family ties that connect the three artists, but rather on the power of painting to create dialogues that transcend generations. Dimitris Koukos, Ada Tsiropoulou, and Vasiliki Koukou each follow their own artistic paths, with different starting points, different quests, and different means of expression. However, the juxtaposition of their works reveals a common ground: the ceaseless search for the image as a vehicle of memory, emotion, and experience.
"Across the Same Water" proposes a dialogue without hierarchies. The works engage in dialogue not because their creators share a common family history, but because painting serves as a shared way for all of them to observe, interpret, and transform the world. Just as water reflects the same light in different ways, so too do these three artists offer three distinct perspectives that converge without becoming identical.
In the unique setting of Kythira, where the sea is an integral part of daily life, the exhibition takes on an extra dimension. It invites the viewer to traverse «the same waters» by following three different painterly paths and to discover that true connection lies not in similarity, but in creative dialogue.
