This is the sixth time that, in August, Manolis Haros has presented «Local Products» at the follow your art gallery, an exhibition dedicated to his creative relationship with Kythira.
The artist now spends most of his time on the island, in his studio in Chora. This year, he is presenting compositions that evoke summer: seashells, seascapes, and the unique light of the Aegean—elements he uses to depict a space outside of time, a place that exists in the gaze and in painting.
The landscape of Kythira—with its imagery, atmosphere, and energy—continues to inspire his painting, providing the creative backdrop for the new series, «Local Products.».
