Running away is always the easy solution. Whatever you see as “difficult” is, most of the time, the right thing to do. No matter how many times you get hurt, you need to remain “unprotected.” And do you know why? Because the people who hurt us offer us “clarity” and clear our minds. We are forced to learn exactly what we want and set our boundaries. Then it's up to them to make their choices, and up to us to make the heroic decisions, as the song says.
Together, as my friend Christos always said. We find it, we lose it, and we start all over again.
After all, sorrow shared is sorrow halved, and joy shared is joy doubled.
Complaints are redeemed from pain in a low voice and with an embrace. So here, as in “I'll leave, you'll lose me.”.
The hero in Stories otherwise closes his cycle with this session and prepares for the next, brighter one.
