The decision of the Primary Single Disciplinary Body of the Super League for the derby between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos was announced on Friday afternoon.
As SPORT24 writes, after the apology of the Reds and the intervention of the Greens, as well as the additional pleadings submitted by both sides, the court decided to punish Olympiacos with -1 point and to award the game to Panathinaikos with a score of 0-3.
The two games that Olympiacos will play without its fans are against PAOK and Panitolikos.
What both sides claimed in their apologies
The apology of Olympiacos FC for what happened in the eternal derby against Panathinaikos lasted four hours on Thursday, in which the Greens made the main intervention.
In their closing statement, the lawyers of Olympiacos asked for the continuation of the game from the point of interruption, while they also questioned the validity of the additional report of the referee of the game.
Panathinaikos' lawyer in his own statement called for the punishment of Olympiacos, stressing that Huancar's injury was confirmed by the examinations and by his inability to play until today.
Earlier, the vice presidents of the two teams, Kostas Karapas and Leonidas Bouchikaris, testified as witnesses in the case and expressed the positions of the reds and the greens for what happened and led to the final stoppage of the game by the Italian referee Maresca.
Mr. Bouchikaris also asked for an apology from the derby doctor, Christos Gagos and the cannibalism he suffered according to him. “This man suffered cannibalism, pictures of him were published and we are all to blame for that and we owe him an apology,’ Mr Bouchikaris said, because the doctor received many threatening and abusive messages about him and his family.
