In our effort to reopen the football field and to take care, as it is done every year, of the surrounding area of the whole plot, where there are the football fields, volleyball/basketball courts and the playground, we met the sad picture inside and outside the playground. See in the photos.
It is a fact that there are no waste bins of the municipality nearby but only one recycling bin at the entrance of the site. But I would like to ask: Do we throw the garbage in our house when we fill up the basket we have for it downstairs or outside on our property?;
Shouldn't any public space used for any events be treated like our home? Some people have given time and money to make this all happen whether it is the church, the city or private individuals. Why should we show this disdain, disrespect or poor education? The garbage will be picked up. But I would ask that this spectacle not be seen again.
Those who use the areas and fill the baskets with rubbish bags should not throw their rubbish left and right and should take care of the cleanliness of the areas. How can we teach our children to respect each other? Thanking you in advance for your understanding I hope our Risen Lord will enlighten us with the light of His Resurrection.
