The launch of its mobile phone application was announced by η Snappi, the first Greek, 100% digital bank (Neobank) based in Ioannina, offers all basic banking services, such as opening and managing accounts, payments, money transfers, building tax-free allowances, and even zero fees. Its customers receive a digital debit card immediately and free of charge, but they also have the option of issuing a physical card.
Snappi's services, like those of all Neobanks (digital banks), are provided exclusively online, via mobile phone, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Snappi, which has been licensed by the European Central Bank and has the potential to expand its activities throughout the Eurozone, has announced that the mobile application is initially available to all Greek taxpayers via the App Store and Google Play.
According to a statement by Snappi, some of the benefits for its customers are:
-Create an account with a Greek IBAN via mobile phone, free of charge and in just a few minutes. Each account comes with a digital and physical debit card, fully functional in Greece and abroad. Basic services include: IRIS payments, SEPA transfers, utility bill payments, and cross-border transactions.
-Daily 24/7 live customer service in Greek, without relying on chatbots, standardized responses, or other external customer service centers. Snappi is the only European neobank offering this service.
-Interest rate of 3% for deposits up to €1,000, which is currently the highest on the market.
-No fees, whether for money transfers, purchases abroad, savings management, etc.
In addition, Snappi customers can use the Bank's platform to access financial education tools and receive practical advice on managing their money.
Snappi also announced that, as a bank licensed by the ECB, it participates in the deposit guarantee scheme, which ensures the protection of deposits up to €100,000 per depositor. It also announced that the "Pay Later" service is available, a flexible e-shopping option that allows payments in four (4) interest-free installments.
Regarding the fact that the Bank is based in Ioannina, Snappi points out that «this is a strategic choice that reflects the new bank's commitment to decentralized development.
