His performance tonight was one of the best in NBA Finals history and it was by a Greek! 50 points, with 16/25 shooting and... 17/19 free throws (!!!), 14 rebounds and 5 blocks, was the total of the Greek Freak who, after two MVP awards and one for best defender, now adds the champion's ring to his collection!
The two teams started off very nervously, with the Bucks getting outscored offensively by Middleton's 7 straight points. The Suns continued to play nervously, the Stags were very focused on defense and with Antetokounmpo taking over (10 pts, 6 rebs, 4/4 free throws) they went up 13 (29-16) early.
In the second period, the scene gradually changed. Holliday and Middleton missed and after Payne kept the Suns close, Paul took over, who found a rhythm (13 points) and put his team ahead (42-47), while for the Bucks, Antetokounmpo had 17 points, but looked alone.
The third quarter was... Johnny vs. the Suns! Ο «The Greek Freak» was unstoppable, having 20 points in that period, but the guests managed to find solutions even from Kaminski (!) to prevent the Bucks from getting away (77-75).
