Second resignation «bombshell» for the government as a few minutes after that of General Secretary of the Prime Minister Gregory Demetriades, resigned and the commander of the NSA, Panagiotis Kontoleon.
As it became known, the Commander of the National Service Information, submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, following incorrect actions found in the Process of legal attachments. The resignation was made Accepted by Prime Minister.
The new Commander of the National Security Service is the current Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Themistocles Demiris. Mr. Demiris will inform the Commission Institutions and Transparency after the resumption of the proceedings of the House.
