He was born in Potamos in 1866. He studied law in Athens and political science in Paris. In 1905, he was elected member of parliament for Kythira. He was also elected member of parliament for the prefecture of Argolida-Corinthia in 1910, to which Kythira then belonged. From 1915 to 1920, he served as prefect of the prefectures of Laconia, Trikala, Kozani, Fthiotida-Fokida, Thessaloniki, and Arcadia. In 1898, he published the newspaper «Kythiraiki Avgi» and then «Chorikos,» «Lakoniki,» and others. He was a correspondent for the newspaper «Acropolis» and the Belgian “Neo Astos.” On the fiftieth anniversary of the union of the Ionian Islands, the First Pan-Ionian Congress was organized, at which he served as general secretary. Nikolaos Dellakoviás was honored with the Silver Cross of the Savior. He died in Athens in 1921.
