Nikos Fatsas, lyricist

Nikos Fateas was born in Fatsadika of Kythera in 1914. He distinguished himself as a lyricist and collaborated with the great artists of the interwar era and later. He wrote lyrics that were set to music and performed by Michalis Sougioul, Nikos Gounaris, Mimis Plessa, George Mouzakis, George Katsaros. Among the most famous songs of Nikos Faceas are: «Come back, I'm waiting for you, come back», «The birds are singing for us», «You have nothing bad», «Tonight at midnight», «As you love», «It's your eyes». Nikos Fatsea died in 1990.
