The Network for Cooperation between Municipalities of the Attica Islands is organizing two days of events and technical meetings, which will take place in the hall. «Dimitrios Stais» (Kythira Association), in Country of Kythira, according to September 22 and 23, 2022.

The Thursday, September 22, 2022 and time 6:00 p.m., will take place technical meeting entitled: «Information for beneficiaries of private and public interventions by the Municipality of Kythira & Antikythira on the procedures for implementing the included actions within the framework of the Local Program CLLD/LEADER and LEADER Fisheries 2014-2020 for the Attica Islands.», where beneficiaries and agencies of the CLLD/LEADER program of the Municipality of Kythira & Antikythira, both private and public interventions, will have the opportunity, among other things, to be informed by Network executives about the procedural requirements of the CLLD/LEADER and LEADER Fisheries programs, as well as to receive support so that the implementation and payment of their projects can be carried out smoothly and without delays. The presence of all beneficiaries of the T.P. CLLD/LEADER and LEADER Fisheries is considered essential.

The technical meeting will be followed by the 3rd meeting of the Joint Committee, which will take place at the same time and place.^ο educational workshop which is organized by the Cell for Alternative Youth Searches (KEAN) within the framework of the project included in the 2014–2020 Fisheries and Maritime Policy, entitled: «Blue Bridge: Supporting the local community of Kythira through communication between fisheries and tourism.». The aim of the educational workshop is to strengthen cooperation and networking with local stakeholders, specifically local fishermen, public authorities, the local tourism industry, and civil society regarding the development opportunities that may arise from the development of blue tourism activities based on local fishing heritage and tradition, with specific local references to the island of Kythira.

The Friday, September 23, 2022 and time 9:30 a.m., will take place, event entitled: «Local Development Mechanism through the CLLD/LEADER Program «Culture & Environment “En Plo”» 2014-2020, Technical Support for Local Authorities & Municipal Networks,», where, among other things, the Local Program of the Attica Islands Network, the new NSRF Program 2021-2027, local development strategies through the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy 2021-2027, as well as cooperation plans of the local LEADER program. The technical assistance project through the Attica OP, the development planning and the institution of programmatic agreements in the Attica Region, and finally, the role of the Network's Technical Service in the maturation and monitoring of municipal projects will also be presented.
