The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov said today that, if it becomes Third World War, it will involve nuclear forces and will be destructive, the Russian news agency RIA reported, according to Reuters.
Lavrov said that the Russia will be faced with a “real danger” if the Kiev acquire nuclear weapons. According to the TASS news agency quoted by Reuters, Lavrov stressed that Russia will not allow Ukraine to acquire nuclear weapons. Russia invaded Ukraine last week in a special operation, as it calls it, to demilitarise and “denazify” the country, an excuse which Kiev and the West have described as propaganda.
