Η Crete and the Rhodes are among the top choices of Germans for their holidays this coming summer, according to booking website HolidayCheck. In addition, one in three have already decided where and when they will take a holiday and have already made the relevant bookings.
As noted in a report in Focus magazine, «Germans» desire to travel is unabated, as the restrictions that the coronavirus pandemic has brought with it since spring 2020 have increased the appetite for long-distance travel." In fact, as highlighted in a survey by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, 34% of respondents have already booked or are planning a holiday trip in the first half of the year.
As far as this summer's destinations are concerned, the website HolidayCheck presented the seven most popular destinations for this year: Turkey, Urghada and Safaga in Egypt, Mallorca, Crete, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands and Rhodes.
