Edessa City Card: a complete travel experience in Edessa

The tourist destination of Edessa comes back to the forefront with a complete visitor experience proposal, through the Edessa City Card.

The initiative is part of the wider promotion plan for Edessa, Vegoritida and Mountain Pella for the winter and spring season 2026, with emphasis on sustainable and experiential tourism, cultural identity and local products. The City Card aspires to act as a single «ticket» to get to know the points of interest, activities and natural environment of the region, facilitating the preparation and stay of visitors.

The journey begins... destination Edessa (City Card)

«Before we arrive at a place, we have already visited it with our thoughts.» The journey to Edessa of the 4 seasons starts from the preparation stage. The research for the accommodation or tour points, the environmental & cultural itinerary, the local products and the elements of the identity of each destination in our beautiful country Greece are included in the travel experience.

Preparing for the trip to Edessa is simple and enjoyable, the Edessa City Card has brought together in a privileged price of a ticket, the best interactive experience of the city of waters. With the Edessa City Card you have access to 12 points of interest & activities, the Mill of Water and the Five Senses, the Mill of Flavours, the Erpetario Aquarium, the Barosian Mansion, the Folklore Museum, the Gesio Museum and many more places in Edessa.

The card with 24/48/72 hours of access to points of interest is also available in the Pella Mountains as it ensures entrance, guided tours and bird watching at the Natural History Museum of Agra-Vryton-Nissi Hydrobiotope.

The Edessa City Card can be obtained from the Visitor Information Centre at the Katarakton Park open 365 days a year, along with information on what to see and experience.

In Edessa, the destination in the heart of Macedonia, wishes to be sustainable and experiential, with a tourism that is useful, beneficial and interesting for visitors who want to explore the destination, taste local products and create an indelible experience for the destination, different every season.
