Specifically, as highlighted in today's announcement, for today, Monday 16 January, local and Hail in many areas of eastern Greece and tomorrow Tuesday (27-01-2026) until the afternoon in the south - southeastern islands of Greece.
In particular, heavy showers and thunderstorms will occur in places:
a. in eastern Macedonia, central Macedonia and Thrace until late Monday night. In Thessaloniki in particular until the afternoon.
b. on the islands of the East Aegean today Monday from early afternoon until Tuesday morning
c. in the Dodecanese today Monday from early afternoon until the evening hours of Tuesday
d. in Crete today Monday until midday on Tuesday
e. in Attica until noon today, Monday.
