Tens of thousands of protesters are expected to take part in a march in Washington, D.C., and other U.S. cities today, calling on members of Congress to pass legislation aimed at controlling gun violence following last month's massacre at an elementary school in Texas.
The March for Our Lives (MFOL), founded by students who managed to survive the 2018 massacre at a high school in Parkland, Florida, announced that it has planned more than 450 marches for today, Saturday, including protests in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
