The confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 in Germany rose by 22,046 in the past 24 hours to 1,106,789, data compiled by the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed today (Thursday).
In the same period, 479 patients succumbed due to COVID-19, with the death toll from the new coronavirus pandemic reaching 17,602 dead, according to the same source.
