Joe Biden seems ready to cross the threshold of the White House. The Democratic candidate also took the lead in the crucial state of Georgia, with 99% of the votes counted.
If Biden takes Georgia, then Trump is “out of pips” to fill the required number of electors to renew his term.
Biden: “We will win”
The Democratic candidate called for calm, who in statements Thursday night asked everyone to remain calm until the vote count is complete.
“We have no doubt that when the count is over, Senator Harris and I will be declared the winners,” Biden told reporters, in a process that has divided American society but seems to be coming to an end.
