An explosion occurred a few hours ago in Taksim Square in Istanbul.
Fire and police forces and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Police forces have cordoned off the area, and the cause of the explosion is not yet known, although Turkish media are talking about a terrorist attack, although this has not been officially confirmed.
According to the first account by local officials quoted by Anadolu Agency, at least 4 people have died and 38 others have been injured.
