It was a concert in which the Thessaloniki State Orchestra presented untold stories of secret love, through works by Elgar, Dvořák and De Falia, conducted by Leo McFall.

However, the new educational program of the K.O.Th. for primary school students will also collect essentials, in cooperation with the Thessaloniki branch of the Hellenic Red Cross.

It is a concert that will take the audience on a great musical journey to various countries of the European family. From Spain and Finland to the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and our country, with characteristic melodies and excerpts from the works of great European composers. With the help of children from all corners of Europe, the question of national identity in music and how a country's tradition, environment, climate, language, history and consequently its dances and songs are reflected in its spoken music will be explored. The aim is to bring children into contact with some of the most beloved symphonic works of the European repertoire and the musical culture of the whole of Europe. The orchestra will be conducted by Konstantinos Diminakis, while the idea and the texts will be written by Mariana Bozapalidou, who will also present the event.
Food and essentials will be collected even at the morning concerts for schools of the same programme, from tomorrow until Friday.
