The evergreen and tireless Tom Cruise finally returns, after many delays due to the pandemic, with his new Movie, the «Top Gun: Maverick» which is about to be released in cinemas.
The film will, before its release in cinemas, make its first «flight» to the Cannes Film Festival next May.
According to Variety, the film will premiere out of competition at the 75th anniversary Cannes Film Festival, which will take place this year from May 17-28.
A few days later, the official release of the film in the US theaters and in many countries around the world will come on May 27th.
The film is directed by Joseph Kozinski written by Christopher McQuary and featuring a cast that includes Miles Teller, who plays Goose's son, Ed Harris, John Hamm, Glenn Powell, and Jennifer Connelly.
And of course the Val Kilmer, who returns as «Iceman», a reappearance that many are waiting for even more than Tom Cruise's.
