The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borel, will be received by the President of the Republic of Cyprus at 10:30 at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia, Nicos Anastasiades.
Anastasiades will first have a private meeting with Mr.Borel, followed by expanded talks.
At 11:40, the EU High Representative will go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he will be received by the Foreign Minister of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides. A private meeting between the two men will follow.
Borel's discussions and contacts in Nicosia are expected to focus on the European Council meeting on 25-25 March, the Informal Conference on the Cyprus problem scheduled for 27-29 April, as well as Cyprus-EU issues.
Mr. Borel's programme includes a meeting with the Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar.
