The suspension of clearance of ENFIA for 7.3 million property owners, will take place today, May 10, according to the Finance Minister's statement, Chr. Staikouras.
Until the end of May 2022 will be paid the first instalment for ENFIA, as provided by an amendment of the Ministry of Finance submitted yesterday Monday to the Parliament. At the same time, it is stated that the last of the ten (10) total instalments will be paid by the end of February 2023.
According to the amendment, ENFIA «shall be paid in up to ten (10) equal monthly instalments, each of which may not be less than ten (10) euros, and of which the first instalment shall be paid by the last working day of the month in which the tax assessment act is issued, if the tax assessment notice is issued by the 15th of that month, otherwise by the last working day of the month following the issue of the tax assessment notice, and the subsequent instalments by the last working day of each subsequent month and the last instalment shall be paid by the last working day of February of the following year.
