The Minister for Civil Protection, Panayiotis Theodorikakos asked the Chief of the National Police, Michael Karamalakis to ensure that the police officers will not bring to the Police Departments teachers who implement the law on protective measures against coronavirus.

If issues of lawsuits arise, the procedure to be followed should be done without the teachers going to the police.The aim of all should be to ensure the proper functioning of the school units and the protection of the necessary educational climate that should exist in schools.
The upheaval in schools continues
All this is happening in the wake of the upheaval in schools caused by parents who are making teachers' daily lives difficult with threats, fights and lawsuits, as they don't want their children to wear masks or do self-test. In Thessaloniki, in the 2ο Primary school of Thermi, a father who demanded that teachers allow his child to enter the classroom for a lesson even though he was not wearing a mask or had not done self-test, now threatening to sue the principal, even demanding huge sums he says (2,700,000) for....criminal acts of the school and the Ministry of Health at the expense of his child. This person has already been brought before the prosecutor on two charges: threatening the operation of a public office and insulting a public servant, and he requested and obtained a postponement of the trial for Friday, 24 September. But when was released, returned to school saying he's going to sue the principal. Teachers all over Greece are in despair because of such situations as they are forced to go to police stations and suffer.
