A few hours later, his health deteriorated again and the doctors decided that intubation was a one-way street. The Metropolitan again refused and the doctors began a new round of negotiations with him, finally convincing him. But the thriller was not yet over.

Who was preventing his intubation

According to information from sources at the Agrinio Hospital, the relatives of the 76-year-old priest, also deniers, took their turn, who attempted to block the procedure, demanding that he not be intubated. The same information indicates that a very close relative of the Metropolitan played a “leading” role in the environment of the Metropolitan. According to the publication, it is a nurse who is on suspension for refusing vaccination. She is also the daughter of a priest. It is noted that Metropolitan Kosmas, apart from a sister -who is also ill and hospitalized- has a brother priest, while his nephew is also a priest.

After a new round of negotiations between the doctors and Metropolitan Kosmas, he was finally persuaded to be intubated. The doctors immediately proceeded with the procedure, with the Metropolitan being intubated and the decision being made to quickly transfer him to the ICU of “Evangelismos”, where he has been hospitalized until now.
