The parents of the three girls who died within less than three years in the Patras. Roula and Manos, the mother and father of the deceased children, of the Malenas, of Iris and of Georgina's, talked about everything exclusively to George Sobolos and the show «Truths with Zina».
The parents talked about everything: the health problems their children had, their hospital admissions, their examinations and finally their death, and they openly answered the rumours that the mother was involved in them.
«Malena wasn't showing us any signs that something was wrong. She woke up, looked at me and before the doctors came back, she ended up... Iris was found dead by my sister. I was trying to do CPR in the kitchen in my panic... Georgina had seen both her sisters die. She was a brilliant child who understood everything,» the girls' mother said, describing minute by minute the moments when her children were breathing their last breath.
«Our life became a serial, they wouldn't let us mourn our child.» The mother is afraid to leave her house,» Manos says of his wife. «Our life has been put in the public eye and the keyboard judges condemn us because we smile,» says 33-year-old Roula, for her part. «I don't disagree with people's anger because obviously there are crimes and criminals but we are not criminals,» the mother said. The father continued, «We have already started to move legally. Many journalists for a piece of bread have fallen very low. They said a lot without knowing anything.».
The father of the three children did not hide his anger at what has been heard all these days, noting that it was not possible for anyone to harm Georgina's infantryman. The mother went on to say that they call her a killer and that many people believe she has set up the perfect crime. «You're a killer, you've set up the perfect crime, that's what they tell me while I'm grieving for my children,» she said. «I just want to respond just because I've heard so much. But no one has ever come to ask me how I am living now. How would I hurt my children? I gave birth to them, I raised them, I was there for them. What kind of logic? There is no logic to it,» he said.
«We can't forget that bit, we've reached the zenith. I got to the point where I've got the pressure up and I'm 30 years old. Dealing with every show and what everyone is going to say. It's been filled with misinformation everything.» Meanwhile, the two parents asked that the police be called first if necessary, and expressed their outrage at «every doctor with a label who has not dealt with the case and is talking.» They made it clear that they will not come out to speak anywhere else. «We want the truth to be heard,» they said, and concluded by saying that «Georgina has brought us of age. We learned what true love is like.».
