Costas Lourantos resigned after 31 years of service in the Pharmaceutical Association of Attica.
In a post on social media, the former president of FSA refers to the «self-interest of the chair» and leaves serious criticism for members of the board of directors (BoD).
Costas Lourantos resigned
In particular, as Mr Lourantos states:
«The end in itself ... the chair!
The FSA Board (with few exceptions) flirts with illegality...
... there is the concern about the incompatibility in his legal service...
... and it is more than evident that charismatic acts are being orchestrated in favour of the disposal of medicines, bypassing the pharmacist and in complete contradiction with the decisions of the FSA General Assembly, i.e. the orders of its grassroots.
I do not tolerate any methodologies to the detriment of the sector, I do not compromise with promises, I do not «round corners", I do not compromise my philosophy...
That's why I quit!
Let them continue with their own philosophy...
They ought to ELECT A NEW PRESIDENT (of their own making), which it seems they cannot do.
PRESIDENT UNDER ANY OBLIGATION I have NEVER BEEN... and I refuse to cooperate today at the expense of the industry, for any consideration whatsoever...
In my opinion, euthinophobia does not go hand in hand with trade unionism, nor can the Presidential «chair» be an end in itself!».
