The General Hospital - Health Centre of Kythera «TRIFYLLEIO» aims at the immediate strengthening of its medical staff, as the Board of Directors of the institution, during its last meeting, updated its request to the Ministry of Health for the announcement of five (5) critical positions of medical staff.
According to a press release issued by the Governor's Office, these positions are considered «absolutely necessary» for the smooth and safe operation of the hospital.
The specialities sought
Specifically, the Kythera Hospital requests the following positions:
Pathologist
Radiologist
Surgeon
Cardiologist
Dentist
At the same time, the Management informs you that the procedures for the advertisement of the posts Orthopaedic Surgeon and Anesthesiologist have already been completed. At the moment, the Hospital is in the process of examining the qualifications of the candidates in order to select the most suitable doctors to staff the respective clinics.
Approvals for equipment, infrastructure and the canteen
In addition to staffing issues, the Board of Directors took decisions on upgrading the infrastructure and daily operation of the Agency:
Medical Equipment & Materials: Following the examination of submitted offers, the supply of necessary equipment for the hospitalization of patients, as well as the maintenance of existing medical equipment was approved.
Supporting Infrastructure: The supply of a professional dryer and a storage container for the needs of the Hospital was approved.
Canteen: The Board of Directors decided to reopen a public tender for the lease of the Hospital's canteen. The previous tender was unsuccessful and the new starting price was set at EUR 200.
