The Movement for Change considers the announcement of the Prime Minister to reduce the charge of the PPC bill as, as stated in a press office statement, it amounts to just 9 euros. The same applies to the announcement by the PPC to triple the bill.
«So let the government stop the funny and insulting communication moves about the chaos that has been caused and let it do something on the substance. After all, citizens are not bought, they have knowledge, memory, judgment and will condemn when the time comes, »stresses the Movement for Change and underlines that the essence is to increase the resilience of the network of the DEDDIE, so that it can face such challenges.
The Movement for Change points out that the undergrounding of networks is necessary in many parts of the country, and is a medium/long-term solution. «Modernization is necessary, with the installation of smart meters, so that the network manager knows where and when there is a problem, as well as the promotion of microgrids using local production and storage units and automated islanding. Technical solutions exist. There is no more time to waste,‘ the Movement for Change notes.
