Japan will vaccinate athletes and participants ahead of the Olympic Games

Η Japan will proceed directly to the vaccination 2,500 people associated with the Olympics and Paralympics Games.

The countdown to the start of the biggest sporting celebration has begun and Japan is looking for ways to reduce the spread of pandemic. Currently 2.6% of the population has been vaccinated and the government has been heavily criticised for the slow pace of vaccination.

Η Pfizer in cooperation with the International Olympic Committee will provide vaccines to athletes and participants in the Olympic Games. Japan's Olympic Committee officials have asked the federations to immediately inform how many athletes want to be vaccinated.

According to the reports, vaccinations will begin in June, in order to have all participants vaccinated by the start of the Games.
