On May 12 and 13, the Kythira High School participated in educational symposium organized by the Piraeus Secondary Education Directorate through the Head of Cultural Affairs, Anthi Gourounti (PE7901) and with scientific responsibility assigned to Chrysanthi Koubarou (SSE Philologists).
The proceedings of the Symposium were hosted at Iakovos Kampanellis Theater« and its theme was: «Landmarks of memory and culture in the Educational Region of Piraeus (DDG Piraeus)». The Kythira Gymnasium participated with an announcement on the topic: «Kythira High School: 100 years of service to Kythira», on the occasion of the school's centenary, was the result of thorough research, oral interviews, and experiential activities by the school's third-grade students.
More than 30 schools from the Piraeus Secondary Education Directorate participated in the four-day symposium. The announcement, which was accompanied by a wealth of photographic material and a related video, was presented by theologian Professor, Lourantos Georgios and the Principal of the High School, Stavroula Fatsa and left an excellent impression.
