The reviews of Jenny Koutsodimitropoulou's new children's book, “Nolan Counts the Stars,” are particularly positive.
Jenny Koutsodimitropoulou was born and raised in Melbourne, but moved to Greece during her teenage years.
She currently lives in Athens with her husband and their two children. She is an English teacher and also teaches online to students from all over the world (Online Teaching).
Every day, she «travels» from continent to continent, discovering different cultures, beautiful cities and villages, and wonderful people, listening to their stories. She has also written other children's books that have been successful and received positive reviews.
Regarding her latest creation, she states in “New World”:
“It is a new collaboration with Dioptra Publications. I have undertaken a new series called “I understand you,” which deals with “difficult” and “sensitive” issues. It is a picture book. It is aimed at young children. That is, for children aged three and above. A few days ago, the first book in the series was released: “Nolan Counts the Stars.” This book deals with the difficult subject of losing a loved one.”.

We quote what is written on the back cover:
“Every weekend, Nolan stayed at his grandparents' house.
This weekend, however, something changed. Grandpa was gone... He had left on a long journey.
«Will Grandpa see the stars now?» Nolan asked, looking up.
«The sky belongs to everyone!» said Grandma.
The new series of books I Understand You helps children deal with sensitive issues.
Here is a moving story about loss, which shows us that even when our loved ones are not near us, we see the same sky.
