Once again in recent years, even the most basic rules have not been followed at the meetings of the Kythira Municipal Council. The Harchalakis administration continues to show contempt for the laws and institutions at every level. Today’s session was held in a hybrid format, with some members present in person at City Hall and others participating via the “Zoom” platform. However, the council president accepted votes via text message from a city council member of the majority who was absent (the message had been sent (even before the meeting began and the items on the agenda were discussed).
The parody reached its climax in the last segment, where there was TIE, following the first-ever VOTE LEAK in history from Mr. Charhalakis's faction. At that point, he decided and voted for the THE SAME The chairman, on behalf of the absent city council member Mr. Lourantos, claiming that he had called him earlier!!! Seriously, what was the subject of that phone call that took place a full 32 minutes earlier? ;
Today can easily be described as «Yet another instance in which the Harhalakis administration killed democracy» at the municipal council meeting of the Municipality of Kythira. Mayor Charhalakis himself was present and did not react. The worst administration since the founding of the Municipality of Kythira continues its destructive work.
