Today, Tuesday, March 16, the payment of emergency financial assistance (allowance of €400) to approximately 45,000 beneficiaries freelancers and scientists, as announced by Ministry of Labor, which published all the planning for payments from EFKA and OAED until March 19.
In total, payments amounting to approximately 116 million euros relating to more than 170,000 beneficiaries.
In detail, the schedule for payments by EFKA and OAED:
1. From e-EFKA The following will take place between March 16 and 19 payments:
Regular payments:
- 12.1 million euros to 620 beneficiaries for the award of lump sums
- €10.26 million to 17,608 beneficiaries for sickness, maternity, and funeral benefits
- €105,000 to 112 beneficiaries for benefits from the former TAXY
- €5,000 to 10 beneficiaries for supplementary pension inheritance benefits
2. From OAED the following payments will be made:
- €45 million will be paid to 40,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs
- 30 million euros will be paid to 66,000 beneficiaries for unemployment benefits and other allowances
- 18 million euros will be paid to approximately 45,000 beneficiaries as part of the emergency financial aid of 400 euros to self-employed scientists and freelancers. As already announced, the payment will be made on Tuesday, March 16.
- 500,000 euros will be paid to 950 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
It should be noted that no payments are scheduled for this period from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and OPEC.
