A post was just published at 4:40 p.m. on Kriton Arsenis' personal Facebook account regarding the topical question to the Minister of Environment & Energy on the subject of: Kythira: Wind farms within the exclusion zones of the Spatial Plan of
APE. The minister's response is currently awaited in Parliament. Read the post and watch the debate in Parliament now.
«Now they are even granting licenses for wind farms in archaeological sites and traditional settlements. Mylopotamos and Paleochora in Kythira were next in line.
So what if the spatial planning of renewable energy sources prohibits it? The Energy Regulatory Authority cites a lack of data on the location of archaeological sites and traditional settlements and grants permits for everything, everywhere.
I urgently called, today, Monday, March 29, at 5:15 p.m., the Minister of Environment and Energy to the Plenary Session to provide explanations for the ongoing violation of even the most favorable regulations provided for wind turbines in the spatial planning of renewable energy sources.
