Kythiraika newspaper: «Without substance and object a untimely attack from Free Kythira»

The Newspaper «Kytheraika» responds to the faction «ELEFTHERA KYTHIRA» and Mr. Sophios on the press release issued just today denouncing the publisher for slander. Read the position of the Newspaper.

Unsubstantiated and untimely attack on “K”

In the vortex of the electoral confrontation were also the «K» from the faction «ELEFTHERA KYTHIRA» and Mr. Sophios. Read his position and our response.

The author of the text seems to be delirious in his election fever. Which statement have we altered, when and at what point? In order to judge the reader of the above incomprehensible, as far as we are concerned, text, the reader must know exactly what it refers to. We assume that it refers to a text of the parapolitical-satirical column published on 1^η May 2023 and which we would be happy to republish here if we knew that they were actually referring to it. And it was the only one that referred to Mr. Wisdom by name and in an interview with Adeline, where in a satirical way, as the whole column is, the constant repetition of l. «clearly»! Does this constitute «alteration, defamation and institutional slander»? Just so we know what we are talking about. Besides, Mr Sophios sent a letter, published in full, to the same column in July. Have we lost the «ball» and do we not know what is what in the Greek language, with which the author of the text does not seem to have good relations, who «remembered» this issue a few months later and on the occasion of an unrelated dispute between his group and the Mayor?;

Frankly, we don't understand all this arbitrary reasoning and such an untimely association of two disparate cases. We forgive the strong impartiality and the fact that completely dissimilar facts or allegations are involved with an obviously satirical column because of the tensions of this period, but we do not condone and do not allow anyone to speculate what their imagination creates and attack inappropriately. We await confirmation or not of his reference to this «Trivolous» text, at which point we will republish it so that those who read the above can judge what «institutional slander» it is.
