The Mayor of Athens, Costas Bakoyannis, instructed the services of the Municipality to deal with priority, the claims for compensation which have the possibility to be deposited by citizens for vehicles that have suffered damage from falling trees and branches.
A prerequisite for the submission of applications is that the vehicles must be parked either in a public area or on a road network under the jurisdiction of the Municipality.
As of today, Thursday (27/01), interested parties can submit their application online to the relevant Directorate of Greenery of the Municipality of Athens, at d.pras.ast.panidas@athens.gr or by contacting the Municipality's Records Office (22 Liosia Street - 2nd floor).
Immediately upon receipt of the application, the Directorate of Greenery will ask the car owners for the required documents.
