Written request to the mayor of Kythera, Efstratios Harhalakis and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Education, Georgios Kominos, addressed by students of the Kythira High School through a decision of the Council of Fifteen, reiterating their desire to march on the day of the national anniversary. It is recalled that this year's celebrations do not include a school parade, due to health protocols and measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The request was forwarded to those responsible by the Teachers’ Association of the High School. The Mayor and the Deputy Mayor decided to give, exceptionally, permission to the students to march on March 25th, in the presence of a teacher. These are students of the 2nd and 3rd Lyceum, 26 in number, girls and boys, who will accompany their flag and informally represent the entire student community of the island in the celebrations for the anniversary of the National Regency.
