In particular, price increases were recorded for: Bricks (13.8%), Safety glass panes (12.6%), Plastic, synthetic, and fiber cement pipes (12.3%), Radiators (11.3%), Copper pipes (7.3%), Ready-mixed concrete (7%), Tiles in general - floor, wall (7%), Parquet flooring (7%), Wooden wardrobes (6.8%), Marble slabs (6.7%), Cement (6.5%), Built-in wardrobes (6.3%), Aluminium frames (6.2%), Plastic, acrylic, water (5.7%), Wooden windows (5.5%), Copper pipes (4.9%), Interior doors (4.6%) and Reinforcing steel (4.3%). On the other hand, prices decreased for: Diesel fuel (2.2%) and Electricity (1.2%).
As announced by ELSTAT, the general price index for construction materials for new residential buildings rose by 6.41% in September 2023 compared to the corresponding index in September 2022, compared to an increase of 12.4% recorded when comparing the corresponding indices in 2022 with those in 2021.
At the same time, the general index rose by 0.4% in September 2023 compared to the August 2023 index, compared to an increase of 0.9% recorded when comparing the corresponding months in 2022.
