Seriously question marks new video from Perama for what the ELAS statement said about the bloody chase, where according to initial information there were more than 30 shots fired and which resulted in the death of the unarmed 20-year-old driver of the stolen vehicle and the injury of a minor who was in the vehicle.
Specifically, in a new documentary video brought to light by “Daily” is heard in conversation, after the end of the chase, where it is said:
“Who has been injured, colleague? - Negative, operator.
Immediately afterwards, one of the police officers who were at the scene can be heard asking the others: “Are my colleagues all right?”, to be followed by many shouts of “yes, yes”. It is then stated that “they knocked down 3 service vehicles, 5, invalid 5” but also that “there is no injured colleague”.
“Has the other one been injured too?” one of the policemen is heard to ask, only to get the answer “hand, hand” (apparently referring to the minor).
“Centre have injured the perpetrators, we have 5 engines in drift, soon 2 ambulances center” is still heard in the video.
In any case, it raises questions about the fact that immediately after the incident the police officers confirm that there are no injuries among them, but a few hours later, the official statement of the ELAS on the incident states that “the perpetrators made a reverse movement and rammed five bicycles of the MI.A.S. teams, injuring a total of seven policemen”.
