The suspension of the adoption of the regulation governing the operation of the Bazaar on the River, requests, in a press release issued by Agricultural Olive Oil Cooperative of Potamos. The Cooperative considers Article 4 on the location of the Bazaar and Article 10 on the items sold and the terms of product distribution to be extremely critical points, for which it has sought the opinion of a specialist lawyer.

«On the occasion of the submission for voting of the operating regulations of the Potamos Sunday Market, and for the reason that in our first decision 23/30-06-2020 we did not pay attention to the draft regulations of the Municipality, certain articles, such as Article 4 regarding the permanent relocation of the Market, Article 10 regarding items for sale – terms of sale of products, WE REVOKE OUR FIRST DECISION and will return with a new decision.
We are awaiting an opinion from a specialist lawyer on the wording of the regulation on the bazaar. For this reason, and in order to obtain the consent of all parties, we request that the vote on the regulation be suspended. We are not asking for anything illegal to be allowed; we are asking that we not lose this SUNDAY MARKET IN POTAMOS, which is tied to the square in Potamos.»
