Another step in the roadmap for the restructuring of the tax administration is completed with the operation of new Tax Service Offices in Attica, the integration of the responsibilities of more tax offices into the Attica KEFODE and the launch of the Thessaloniki KEFOK.
According to the AADE, the reforms complement the plan of modernization actions of the Independent Authority and are expected to significantly upgrade the quality of services provided and the service to taxpayers.
Specifically:
1. The responsibilities for income tax, VAT, special taxes and registry, as well as the implementation of the provisions on bookkeeping and data issuance from the Athens, Athens D, Ilioupolis, Kallithea and Nea Ionia tax offices are transferred to the Centre for Tax Procedures and Services (KEFODE) of Attica.
For issues falling under the above responsibilities, taxpayers are served digitally by the Attica KEFODE, in the applications «My Requests» and «My Appointments», through the digital portal myAADE (myaade.gov.gr) or through the application for mobile devices myAADEapp.
2. The operation of the new Tax Services of Attica begins, according to the following table:

Heliopolis 9th Tax Service, Avenue of Heliopolis. 387 & 389 Vouliagmenis Avenue, Ilioupolis (formerly DOU Ilioupolis)
Kallithea 10th Tax Service, 195 Eleftheriou Venizelou Street, Kallithea (formerly Kallithea Tax Office)
Nea Ionia 12th Tax Service Office, Ave. 269 Herakliou Avenue, Nea Ionia (formerly DOU Nea Ionia)
A’ and D’ Athens (Consolidation) 1st Tax Service, 18-20 Artemisiou Street, Athens (in the building where the former Tax Office of the Athens Tax Office was located)
It should be noted that the Tax Service Services provide services:
- Receipt of the key and VAT number (for cases where taxpayers choose to be identified in person).
- Service/guidance of taxpayers in the use of the digital services of the Hellenic Tax Administration.
- Management of issues related to the immobilisation of vehicles (passenger cars and two-wheelers), such as receipt of immobilisation declarations in the case of deceased vehicles, removal of immobilisation, transmission of permits and plates for vehicle deletion, registration of forced immobilisations.
- Submission of a request, on behalf of the taxpayer, on the «My Requests» platform, after identification and written consent.
Taxpayers will be served at the Tax Service Centres by:
- Appointments, which will be booked digitally in the «My Appointments» application, through the myAADE digital portal (myaade.gov.gr) or through the myAADEapp mobile application.
- Physical presence.
3. The Capital Tax Centre (KEFOK) of Thessaloniki is put into operation with the gradual transfer of the responsibilities for the taxation of property transfer and real estate ownership of the Tax Offices of the prefecture of Thessaloniki.
Specifically:
- The above responsibilities are transferred to the KEFOK of Thessaloniki from the DTOs of Ambelokipon, Kalamaria, Lagada and Ionia of Thessaloniki.
- Taxpayers will be served digitally by the KEFOK Thessaloniki in the application «My Requests», through the digital portal myAADE (myaade.gov.gr) or through the application for mobile devices myAADEapp.
- The transfer of the above responsibilities of the other DTOs of the prefecture of Thessaloniki to the KEFOK of Thessaloniki will be completed on 22/7 with the transfer of the D, E, Z and the Tax Office of Thessaloniki.
