The Kythira Foundation for Culture & Development (KIPA) implements the Act «Network of mountain bike paths in Kythera», which includes the realisation of the works for the creation of the Cycling Routes and the implementation of actions for the promotion and promotion of the Network. The Action «Mountain Bike Path Network in Kythera» is funded by the Fisheries and Marine Operational Programme 2014-2020.
In accordance with the decision 29/7/2021 of the Board of Directors of KIPA and Article 6 of the Regulation on Contracts for Works, Supplies & Services of KIPA, the Board intends to proceed with the Direct Award procedure for the selection of the Contractor for the implementation of the following actions «BIKE RACKS» & «TOOL BOX».
In selected points within 10 settlements, 15 bicycle parking stands will be installed. At the bicycle parking stands, a box will be placed with basic tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.) and materials for dealing with bicycle damage. The bike racks in combination with the tool box will serve functional needs of cyclists.
The Budget for «Bicycle posts» amounts to 700,00€ plus VAT 24% and the Budget for « Tool box» amounts to 1.200,00€ plus VAT 24%.

The selection of the contractor will be made through the Direct Award procedure, based on the criterion of the most economically advantageous offer, exclusively on the basis of price, provided that the technical specifications are met.
