The government's policy for Hellenes living abroad also includes the postal vote, he said, and called on the opposition parties to support its introduction in the national elections and thus satisfy a «self-evident demand» of Hellenes around the world.
He also announced that on February 9, on the occasion of the Greek Language Day, many events are planned at our country's embassies abroad. «They have taken initiatives to “communicate” the very important background that the Greek language has for Hellenism as a whole, both as a means of extroversion and as a means of disseminating our culture,» he noted.
He also made it known that he is in contact with the Ministry of Culture with the aim of expanding the extroverted actions to «communicate» more the Greek language.
