Approximately €61.5 million will be paid to over 60,000 beneficiaries, as part of the scheduled payments by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, e-EFKA and OAED, during the week of 11-15 October.
Specifically:
1. From the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, 42,360 euros will be paid on Monday 11 October to 101 beneficiaries for special purpose compensation (special categories of unilateral declarations of past months).
2. From e-EFKA, in the period 11-15 October, the following payments will be made as part of the institution's regular payments:
- €15.1 million will be paid to 550 beneficiaries, following the adoption of one-off decisions.
- €330,000 will be paid to 390 beneficiaries for cash benefits (maternity, accident and funeral benefits).
- €25,000 will be paid to 40 beneficiaries for inherited supplementary pension benefits.
3. From the OAED, the following payments will be made:
- €17 million will be paid to 45,000 beneficiaries for unemployment and other benefits.
- €24 million will be paid to 5,500 beneficiaries under subsidised employment schemes.
- €1.3 million will be paid to 2,000 mothers for subsidised maternity leave.
- €3.5 million will be paid to 6,500 beneficiaries for public benefit schemes (payment of contributions to institutions).
For the period 11-15 October, there are no scheduled payments from OPEKA.
