The weather will worsen from midday onwards, initially in the Ionian Islands and western Peloponnese, and gradually in the rest of the west, with heavy rain and storms accompanied by hailstorms and frequent lightning. The phenomena will gradually spread to the central and northern mainland as well as the eastern Aegean.
Winds will blow in the west from southern directions, reaching 5 to 6 locally in the northern Ionian Sea and up to 7 Beaufort. In the east, winds will initially blow from the north at 3 to 4 Beaufort, gradually giving way to southerly winds of 4 to 6 Beaufort from the west.
Visibility will be locally limited in the morning and evening hours.
Meteorological conditions favor the transport of African dust to the west and south.
The temperature will drop slightly, mainly in the north.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: In western and central Macedonia, increased cloud cover with local rain and isolated thunderstorms from midday onwards. In eastern Macedonia and Thrace, initially few clouds, which will increase from midday and there will be local rain and, from the afternoon, mainly in coastal areas, isolated thunderstorms.
Winds: East-northeast 3 to 4, shifting to south 4 to 5 Beaufort from midday.
Temperature: From 07 to 20 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia, it will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN GREECE, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Initially in the Ionian Islands and western Peloponnese, and gradually in the rest of the country, cloudy with rain and scattered thunderstorms. The phenomena, which will be locally intense, will temporarily weaken in the evening.
Winds: From southern directions 5 to 6 and locally in the Ionian Sea 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 11 to 22 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus, 3 to 4 degrees lower.
EASTERN CENTRAL GREECE, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Cloudy skies will gradually increase, and rain and scattered thunderstorms will develop by midday. The phenomena in eastern Central Greece and the eastern Peloponnese will be locally intense, but will weaken late in the evening.
Winds: From eastern directions 3 to 4 and from midday south-southeast 5 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 23 degrees Celsius. In the north, 2 to 3 degrees lower.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Scattered clouds that will thicken in the afternoon, bringing local rain and possibly isolated thunderstorms.
Winds: From northern directions 3 to 4 Beaufort and from midday from southern directions 5 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 17 to 25 degrees Celsius.
EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE
Weather: In the eastern Aegean islands, scattered clouds will thicken in the afternoon, bringing rain and sporadic thunderstorms, locally strong. In the Dodecanese, scattered clouds will be thicker at times.
Winds: From northern directions 3 to 4 Beaufort and from midday south-southeast 4 to 5 and in the north up to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 17 to 25 degrees Celsius. In the north, 3 to 4 degrees lower.
THESSALIA
Weather: A few clouds that will increase from midday and bring rain and sporadic thunderstorms. The phenomena, which may be locally intense in the southernmost parts, will stop late in the evening.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4, and from midday east-southeast 4 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 18 degrees Celsius.
ATTICA
Weather: Scattered clouds that will increase from midday onwards, bringing rain and sporadic thunderstorms, possibly locally heavy in the west. Conditions will improve late in the evening.

In most parts of the country, cloud cover will increase temporarily with local rain and sporadic thunderstorms, which will be locally intense from the early morning hours in the northern Ionian Sea, Epirus, western Macedonia, western Sterea, the southern parts of the eastern Peloponnese and Kythira, from midday in central Macedonia, eastern Macedonia, and possibly Thrace, while in the evening the phenomena will weaken in most areas and will be limited to the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.
Winds will blow in the west-southwest and east-southwest at 5 to 7 and in the northeast Aegean temporarily locally at 8 Beaufort.
Temperatures will rise slightly in the southeast, reaching 26 to 27 degrees Celsius in Crete and the Dodecanese, while in the rest of the country they will not exceed 23 to 25 degrees Celsius.

The phenomena will gradually spread to the west, center, and north and will intensify. Sporadic thunderstorms will occur in the afternoon in the west, which may be temporarily strong.
Winds will blow west-southwest at 4 to 5 and from the afternoon in the Ionian Sea locally at 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly in the west and north.
