On Sunday, showers are expected to occur in several areas of the country, with the exception of Eastern Macedonia, Thrace and the islands of the North and Northeastern Aegean. The phenomena will be more frequent in Central Macedonia, Thessaly, Eastern Sterea and Evia.
In particular, tomorrow in Thessaloniki, clouds are expected with the possibility of occasional showers until Monday morning 14/2, with winds blowing from variable directions with intensities of 2-4 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 6 to 11 degrees, but around the city the minimum will be 3-4 degrees lower.
Intermittent snowfall is expected tomorrow in mountainous continental parts of Central, Eastern and Northern Greece. In the morning and especially in the evening hours visibility will be limited and fog will form. Frost will occur in the northern mainland during the night and early morning.
According to the meteo of the National Observatory of Athens, the temperature will range from -5 to 8 degrees Celsius in Western Macedonia, -2 to 12 degrees Celsius in the rest of Northern Greece, 2 to 16 degrees Celsius in Epirus, 2 to 13 degrees Celsius in Thessaly, 4 to 17 degrees Celsius in the rest of the mainland, 5 to 16 degrees Celsius in the Ionian Islands and 5 to 14 degrees Celsius in the Aegean islands and Crete.
Winds will blow in the North Aegean from northeastern directions with intensities of 6-7 Beaufort and in the rest of the Aegean north with intensities of 5-6 Beaufort. Winds from different directions with intensities of 3-5 Beaufort will blow in the Ionian Sea.
In Attica clouds with local showers are expected. Occasional snowfall will occur in Parnitha and Kithairon. In the afternoon the phenomena will stop. In the evening hours visibility may be locally limited. Winds will blow from the north with intensities up to 5 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 8 to 14 degrees.
