Çavuşoğlu: «Greece does not want peace, we must respond»

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has made new delusional statements against Greece, going so far as to accuse Greece of not wanting peace and then threatening that Turkey will respond.

The Turkish Foreign Minister, apart from Greece, also fired at the US for its pro-Greek stance.

Specifically, Cavusoglu said in an interview with the TVNET network, as reported by SKY, that «whoever threatens Turkey, the ‘one night we will suddenly come’ rule applies», while he said that the US has «lost the balance on the issue of balance. The Turkish Foreign Minister also made references to the illegal Turkish-Libyan memorandum that has caused numerous reactions, saying that «we had signed an agreement with Libya in 2019. We are told that the government has no legitimacy to sign. But Spain, Italy, Malta and Egypt have signed various memoranda with the Libyan government.».
