Today, Tuesday, January 12, 2021, the bank accounts of private sector employees, whose employment contracts were set suspended the December 2020. As stated in a relevant announcement by Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, The total amount to be paid is €325.7 million and concerns 645,054 beneficiaries in 168,199 businesses.
It should be noted that, according to the announcement dated 07/01/2021 by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in the Information System «ERGANI», the possibility of submitting declarations of suspension of employment contracts by employers and employees (and only for employees for whom no declaration has been submitted), as well as correct repetitions for the months of October, November, and December 2020.
For October, the relevant deadline expires today, while for November the deadline is 12/1/2021-14/1/2021. For December 2020, the above contract suspension declarations can be submitted from January 15, 2021, to January 18, 2021.
