A shocking car crash occurred at noon on Thursday, resulting in the death of a six-year-old girl.
This horrific incident took place at the junction of Grigorios Lambrakis and Koutaisis streets in Nikaia, where a truck allegedly hit a woman, her 6-year-old daughter, who died, and her niece, aged 14.
According to an eyewitness who was at the scene, the accident occurred during a traffic light change, and as he claimed, the truck driver did not seem to realize that he had dragged the children and their mother.
“A woman and two children, about 6 and 14 years old, got off a coach. At that time she tried to run across the road. In the middle, however, a green light was given for cars and they set off. The lady tried to cross across, but the van started, causing the children to be swept away. The woman was screaming and because the driver didn't notice, we jumped into the road and then it stopped. She didn't understand anything. She turned on the green light, started and didn't understand a thing.”.
According to reports, her mother and niece have been taken to the hospital of Nice, injured.
